Access iCloud Drive Files on Apple TV

While Apple does not currently provide a direct option for browsing files stored in iCloud Drive on Apple TV, in Infuse it's possible to use a separate device (EG iPhone) for browsing and to bookmark links to individual files which can then be played on Apple TV.

Step 1. Open Infuse and browse the iCloud Drive connection in the Files or Library sections.

Step 2. Locate the file to be played on Apple TV. Long-press it and select the ‘Add to Links’ option.

Step 3. A direct link to the video will added to the ‘Links‘ section in Infuse which can then be accessed on Apple TV.

Items added to the Links section will be included in the Infuse library by default. This can be disabled by deselecting the Links item in the Infuse > Settings > Library menu.

Generated links for iCloud Drive files are valid for 30 days. After this time the link would need to be re-added in order for the file to be played.
