Overview
In most cases, your existing Pro license is activated automatically (and shared with family members) when installing or updating Infuse. However, due to unexpected App Store issues, manual steps may sometimes be required to restore past purchases.
How to Restore In-App Purchases
- Tap the Restore button on the purchase prompt that appears
- Restart your device and then tap Restore in the purchase prompt if it appears
If neither of those help, you may try the following steps.
- Remove the currently installed Infuse app from your device
- Sign out of the App Store through Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases
- Restart your device
- Sign in to the App Store through Settings > Apple Account > Media & Purchases
- If using a subscription, ensure this appears as active in App Store > Account > Subscriptions
- Re-download Infuse from the App Store and tap the Restore button on the purchase prompt (if it appears)
How to Restore In-App Purchases with Family Sharing
On purchaser’s device
- Check to ensure 'Purchase Sharing' is enabled in System Settings > Apple Account > Family
- If you're using a subscription, open the Infuse subscription page (in App Store > Account > Subscriptions > Infuse) and ensure the ‘Share with Family’ option is enabled
On family member’s device
- Check to ensure ‘Purchase Sharing’ is enabled in System Settings > Profile > Family Sharing
- Delete the Infuse app from your family member's device
- Open the App Store, and browse for the Infuse 7 app from the list of purchased apps of the family member who purchased the license. App Store > Account > Purchased > Family Purchases*
- Once downloaded, tap the Restore button on the purchase prompt in Infuse
* If the app does not appear there, it's possible it may have been hidden. Hidden apps cannot be shared with Family Sharing. More info on how to unhide an app can be found in this guide.
Alternative Method for Family Sharing via Trakt
This method can be used if you are seeing issues with Apple’s native Family Sharing or if you need to share a purchase between App Store regions.
- Ensure the Pro logo is visible in the Infuse > Settings menu on the purchaser’s device
- Log into Trakt on the purchaser’s device in the Infuse > Settings menu (Note: On iOS/macOS/visionOS open the Infuse > Settings > Sync menu or look for the orange Trakt icon in the upper right corner of the Settings menu)
- Log into the same Trakt account on other devices
If the problem persists, please contact Apple Support as there may be a problem with your account which is preventing purchases from working.
