AirPlay Isn't Working

Overview

If Infuse is pausing playback immediately after enabling AirPlay, it may be related to Infuse trying to send Dolby Digital audio when the device the Apple TV is connected to doesn't support it. This can happen when the Apple TV is not connected to a Dolby compatible device, or if Dolby audio is disabled in the Apple TV settings.

Solutions

Option 1 - Enable Dolby Digital on the Apple TV

On the Apple TV, navigate to Settings > Audio & Video and set the DOLBY DIGITAL option to ON instead of AUTO.

Option 2 - Disable 5.1 Audio over AirPlay in Infuse

The 5.1 Audio over AirPlay setting can be found in Infuse > Settings > Playback. Simply toggle the setting off, and AirPlay should start working as expected.
