The aTV Flash Maintenance plugin allows easy installation and setup of various software packages to add additional functionality.
Install Extras
The Install Extras menu allows for easy, one-click installation of many additional components and applications.
Install, Update and Remove
To Install/Update an Item: Highlight the item to be installed, and press the play/pause button. You will be prompted to restart the AppleTV when complete.
To Remove an Item: Highlight the item to be installed, and press the right arrow (>>) button. You will be prompted to confirm the removal and restart the AppleTV when complete.
Manage Plugins
The Manage Plugins menu allows for easy, one-click installation of all available AppleTV applications. The standard Apple menu items can also be enabled or disabled.
Install, Update and Remove
Show/Hide Standard Plugins: Select the Apple menu you wish to enable/disable, and press the play/pause button. You will be prompted to restarted the Finder for the changes to take effect. Note: Enabling or disabling a menu will not affect the media contained in that menu.

Settings
The Settings menu allows for various settings and applications to be enabled or disabled.
Description of Settings
AppleTV Update - Toggle the AppleTV system auto-update feature on or off. (Note: Installing an AppleTV system update will require aTV Flash to be reinstalled).
Nito Smart Installer - Run the nitoTV Smart Installer to enable external USB hard drive support, network streaming, DVD playback and a host of other features. More info here: Smart Installer
Apple H.264 - Enabled by default, disabling will allow H.264 video to be played using the added Perian component which supports a broader range of files.
AC3 Passthrough - Toggles the 5.1 audio option for files played through nitoTV and Sapphire.
iTunes Storage - This feature can be used to easily switch between internal and external storage for iTunes syncing. More information on this feature can be seen here: USB Storage
File Sharing - Enable SMB server on the AppleTV and share non-iTunes content (including content stored on an external drive) with other devices.
Tunnelblick - Set Tunnelblick status to enabled, disabled or auto-start. Tunnelbick enables any OpenVPN provider's VPN service to be used on the AppleTV. More info can be seen here: VPN
Vine Server - Set Vine Server status to enabled, disabled or auto-start. Vine Server enables VNC to monitor applications from a remote location.
